Moonstone is a complete natural stone with no known treatments. A members of the feldspar family, the primary characteristic of these gemstones is a beautiful play of shimmering light, known as adularescence.

Their own Bella Luna Moonstone from Tanzania is handpicked from the rough, sent directly to us from the mines, and after sorting by the BG&F staff sent to cutters arround the globe who transform  the iridescent rocks into fine, gem quality Bella Luna moonstone. Carbochons, rose cut, briolletes and faceted are available, as are matched pairs in calibrated as well as artistic freeforms.
